I never thought I would be in this position.

I am on Social Security disability.  I lost the private disability income that was 75% of my income.  My physical condition has become worse.

Yesterday, I used the last of my savings to pay for the past due on my Medicare  suppliment  health insurance.

I have been without running water in the house because there is a leaking pipe in a wall and I couldn't pay my water bill.  The neighbor who mowed my lawn moved  and I just can't afford anyone to help me.  Tree limbs are down and one is leaning on my roof.  Other minor repaies are just not getting done.

I've been in bankrupcy since last July.  I have to make that payment or I'll lose the house.

And the kicker is that my "income"  ms $200 over eligability limits.  When I bought my house about 7 years ago, my mortgage payment was equal to what I was paying for rent.  My supplimental insurance payment is almost equal to my mortgage payment.

I used to  be a giver, and that is the hardest part.  I can't do that any more.  

Any resource information or some angel who can help, please post.

Hi, I was wondering if there is anyone out there with some home repair skills that could help me. Right now I am coming off of workers comp but, can't return to my original job and therefore I am looking for another which will accomodate my disabilities resulting from my job injuries. I need some drywall put up and I will assist as much as possible. When my roof was leaking it caused damage before I could get a new one. I have many of the supplies needed and the tools I just need the help and strength. I can't hire anyone because, in Aug my mother died without warning and no life insurance and therefore, I was left with a $7,000 credit card bill.  I hope someone can help as I will gladly help anyone I can that may need my help as long as it doesn't involve money. I have installed a whole house iron filter, and a chemical feeder in a rental property I have.  The water still smells.  It didn't at first, but now chlorine that supposed to go to the house, seems to be coming out to the barn.  It didn't used to.  Someone put a check valve on the line, but that stopped all the water from coming to the barn.  Does anyone know someone who specializes in the water systems who can come out and see if it is installed correctly??

I am a single man who has been rescueing cats and kittens for the last 5 years. Everything paid for by myself, all meds and spaying and neutering. Now I have lost our home and I need help to continue to take care of these babies so they won't be put to sleep. I right now have 38 cats and 3 dogs crammed into a 600 sq. ft. apt. I have contacted over 20 shelters and rescue groups and everyone is full. Please help with any size donation you can.

I am a college student trying to start a small handyman company.  I was wondering if there is anyway to get a government grant to assist in the start up costs for insurance and equipment.  If anyone knows about this please let me know.
